The beginning of the Levi's brand dates back to 1873, in San Francisco, USA, when tailor Jacob Davis contacted Levi Strauss to raise money and register the "blues jeans" patent together with the metal corners that gave them more resistance , which Levi and Jacob had, respectively, invented.
From the beginning, the novelty "trousers Levi's" made a success among the miners, farmers and railroad, not only for its resistance but also for its color, which was new at the time. From there the brand was growing and gaining notoriety. In 1908 it expanded to Japan, following Australia and South Africa. In 1965 began its expansion to Europe, already with more lines of clothes, for man, woman and child. This was the beginning of Levi's® global hegemony.
